One-off help for properties being sold, bought, closed up or left behind.
Handing over a property is stressful enough without the cleaning, the contents and the paperwork. Help in France provides professional one-off cleaning, inventories and clearance support, so the next chapter can begin.
PLEASE NOTE: The following services are available within 50km of Ernée 53500 in the Mayenne Dept of NW France, a fuel supplement is added for properties further than 20km. We can accommodate properties outside of this area but a surcharge for extra time and travel costs will be added.
One-off cleaning services:
Sale-Ready Clean (from €260)
A deep clean of a vacant house or holiday homebefore photos, viewings or completion, so it looks its best.
Key-Ready Clean (from €260)
A deep clean for buyers before you move in, so you arrive to a fresh start.
Season Close Clean (from €190)
An end-of-season clean for holiday homes and gîtes before winter, so you come back to a clean house in spring.
Prices quoted are for smaller properties. I’ll confirm a fixed quote after seeing photos or a short video of the property.

Home inventories
Home Inventory (from €120)
A room-by-room photographic and written record of your property and its contents, useful for:
- Insurance: a clear record to keep with your contract, and to support a claim if something goes wrong
- Checking: I can compare your existing inventory with the contents of the house so you can see if anything is missing (e.g. after a break-in)
- Sales and rentals: a record of what is and isn’t included in the sale/rental
- Estates: a record of contents for the family and the notaire
We are not loss adjusters or insurance advisers, so we can’t tell you what your policy covers. We can make sure the documentation is clear, well organised and presented in English and French.
Clearing a property after a death
Dealing with a loved one’s home after they’ve died is one of the hardest jobs there is. We can help the family by:
- Recording the contents with a photographic and written inventory
- Sorting items into keep, donate, recycle and dispose
- Arranging collection or disposal of what’s left, with help from local services
- Cleaning the property afterwards, so it’s ready for sale, rental or handover
We only clear a property once the family or heirs have confirmed in writing what may be removed. Where there is any doubt about ownership, we’ll wait for the notaire’s guidance.
Each clearance is different, so we quote after a visit or a video call, and you’ll know the price before we start. If the property needs specialist removal, we’ll recommend suitable local professionals.
