Selling or leaving France

Selling and leaving can feel like running a race with a long list of loose ends. I can help you tidy them up:

  • Cancelling or transferring utility, insurance and other contracts (€30 each, or up to 4 for €100)
  • Change of address notifications
  • Closing a micro-entreprise (from €50)
  • Writing to French companies and administrations on your behalf, in French
  • Following up delays and explaining official letters
  • A Sale-Ready Clean, so the house looks its best for photos, viewings or contract completion
  • A Home Inventory, a room-by-room photographic record for the sale, your records or your insurer

Holiday homes and gîtes

Closing up for the season, or opening up again in spring? I can arrange the contracts and admin you’d rather not deal with from abroad, plus a Season Close Clean (from €190).

Yes. It’s often best to start early so contracts end and begin on the right dates.

I’ve already left France. Can you still help?
Often yes. Much of the work can be done by email and phone. Some procedures need your written authorisation before I can act on your behalf.

I only use the house for holidays. Is this for me?
Yes. Holiday homes need the same set-up and closing down as any other property.
